2. Clinical Indications

Poultry: Respiratory tract infections (coryza, mycoplasmosis), gastrointestinal infections (colibacillosis, salmonellosis).
Swine: Bacterial pneumonia, pleuropneumonia, and enteritis.
Ruminants: Bovine respiratory disease complex (BRDC), enzootic pneumonia, and calf scours.

3. Dosage & Administration

Route: Oral administration via drinking water or direct drenching.

4. Pharmacology & Safety

Mechanism: Florfenicol is a broad-spectrum bacteriostatic antibiotic. It binds to the 50S subunit of bacterial ribosomes, inhibiting protein synthesis.
